 I love the unique packaging for this bobbin thread. It helps not only to keep your bobbin thread dust free and out of the elements, but also aides you to have even winding of your bobbins. It helps the thread to come off the spool evenly. You just pop off the cap on the top of the casing, then run your thread through that hole directly to your machine. When you done with it you just push the thread back through the top a bit leaving a little hanging off the top, then replace the cap. As with all Hemingworth Thread Spools, it will sit vertical, horizontal, or just by the side of your machine.
